Spot Hang Loose Beach is very easy to reach from all over the world thanks to: • International Airport 3 km (north to Gizzeria Lido); • Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway, 7 km (from North Falerna exit, heading south for Gizzeria Lido, Sud exit from Lamezia Terme, going north to Gizzeria Lido); • train station of Lamezia Terme, 3 km (north to Gizzeria Lido); Anyway, just remember that Hang Loose Beach is a beautiful pine forest in front of the well known "fish and eels" beach.
Wind The Wind from N/NW/O, side-onshore to the right, very consistent, with intensity from 12 to 25 knots, allowing Gizzeria to be the spot with the highest percentage of wind in Italy. The spot works very well with Levante or Scirocco S/SE/E, side-walls to the left off with intensity from 20 to 40 knots. Moreover, the huge beach made of white sand and totally devoid of cliffs, to exit safely. With thermal wind the spot is ideal for beginners.
